Aye! Aye! is right! These fellas are ugly! But don't let their looks fool you. They have great personalities! Even though they have really long skinny fingers that they tick tack against the wood on trees. Oh, and how can I forget after they tick tack on the trees they eat! :D Let me explain this. So the reason that they tap their long skinny middle finger against a tree is because they are searching for food(Like caterpillars that live in the trees). I guess when they come across a different sounding spot on the tree they know that something is in there. Which they must have really good hearing to be able to do that! They then use their teeth to dig into the tree. After that they use their skinniest finger to reach into the tree and take the caterpillar (or the other insects that live in the trees) out so that they can eat it! A caterpillar is a treat! Usually they eat the following: nuts from trees, nectar, fruit, and eggs from other animals. Here is my drawing of an Aye aye:
