Candy!!!
One of the favorites:
CHOCOLATE!!
So how was chocolate made?
Well, chocolate comes from cocoa beans. Cocoa beans come from a tree called the cacao tree! There are seeds inside of a football sized plant, this plant holds about 100 seeds! The people that make the chocolate get these beans into bags and take then to the factory.
Once they get the beans to the factory they was the beans. So, the beans are washed, what next? They roast the beans! The way they roast the beans: they roast them by putting them into a machine that flows REALLY hot air threw the beans. They can tell when the beans are done by simply looking at them! How?
Well the beans were a whitish brownish. And when they are finished roasting they turn to a deep dark brown. So the cocoa beans are roasted and then what? They then put them into a machine that breaks the seeds apart. Why did they do that?? They don't need the full bean, all they need is the small nib inside of it. They take the liquid out of the nib and usually they don't use it, they only use it if they want to make the chocolate taste less dark! If they do want the chocolate to taste less dark they also a a very small amount of milk. Okay after they remove the liquid from the nib they then grind up what is left. Making it into chocolate! As you would think this would take a whole lot of seed to make the whole chocolate bar. Once lots of beans finished with this process they mix lots of the remaining beans together to make a bigger bar. The let it cool, wrap it, and it's done.

Now let's move on to my favorite candy!! SOUR!!!!!!!!^-^
Let's do my favorite.
It is made in Roswell New Mexico! I have to visit this place some time!! Okay, back to subject! They are a hard candy called Warheads! Yumm! They pour 3 different mixtures (sugar, water, and corn syrup) They boil that in a pot at 300 degrees!!!
They have the food coloring or should I call it the candy coloring?:D And of course they have the different flavors! They add the colors and flavors and the mix it really well. After they've added those they cool it! The way they cool it: Well, they don't only cool it! They also have to take the air bubbles out! They do this with a machine that rolls the candy. They air cool it. They don't want to cool it too much just to the point where you can still cut it into it's shape. The put in into a machine that puts citrus acid in the middle of the candy. They then coat the candy with malic acid. Tis is the thing that gives it such a strong sour taste!
And that is how they make the Warheads sour candy (hard)
Thanks!
Coco
