Why chickens?
This might sound like a very strange question but everyone that is looking into getting chickens should ask themselves this question!

There are many reasons for everyone to get chickens.
Here are just a few reasons.
Well, most obvious first! The eggs! The eggs will taste great if you raise the chickens well. They'll always taste better than most store bought eggs. You don't even want to know what they do to those poor things! But I'm going to tell you anyway.:D They stuff 100s of chickens into a VERY small cage. Why is this a problem? Well, it's a HUGE problem because it can kill them. The chickens pick at each others feathers leaving them with only cut up skin. I mean how would you like to be put in a cage that you could barely fit into plus with a whole bunch of people you don't know lying on top of you bitting you because they are uncomfortable?? Trust me you wouldn't like it! And that's what they do to them! Poor things.:(
You can save one (or more) of them from having that happen to them.  

Next good reason to get chickens: they have really strong personalities! One might be really shy and another a big show off trying to get the treats out of your hand, and another might always be wondering what your up to and even try to do it them selves! Tell me this isn't cute!! They are adorable.
They love to make perfect pictures to show to family and friends. They'll make you look like a great photographer. And don't worry there's more!
If you have a lawn and or lots of weeds, don't worry the chickens will love to do the work for you!:) 
They also give you a GREAT looking lawn by giving it fertilizer instead of you having to go get some at the store!
