Fowl

Fowl: Any of the various birds of the order Galliformes.
2:(A)A bird, such as the duck, goose, chicken, turkey, pheasant, or quail.
(B) The flesh of a bird used as food.
3: A bird of any kind.

Today I'm going to do a post on the different fowl!(duck, goose, chicken, turkey, pheasant, and quail)These fowl are all domesticated (tamed).
Chicken
The chicken was domesticated in India and Southeast Asia. They were domesticated in
China at about 6000BC and in India about 2000BC. They evolved from the jungle fowl which still roams in Asia. Chickens are the largest populated fowl in the entire world!
Turkey
The turkey was domesticated in North and South America. The turkey hasn't been around even close to how long the chickens have. They were domesticated at 100BC.
Pheasant
There wasn't much information on the pheasant. This might be because the are endangered. Most pheasants come from Asia.
Quail
The quail was first domesticated in Eastern Asia. In the 1300s.
Goose
They were domesticated in Europe, Northern Africa, and Western Asia. This happened in about 1000BC.
Duck
The duck was domesticated in Colombia and Peru in the 14000s.

This is a world map with drawings of the fowl where and when they were first domesticated:
